Although this is Rebel Wilson’s first lead role in a movie, she is not entirely out of her comfort zone as she is well known for starring in other well-known comedies such as “Bridesmaids” which first introduced Wilson to America and “Pitch Perfect” where she played the part of “Fat Amy”, a role which many say that propelled her career to greater heights and opened countless doors of opportunity.

Although acting seems to be her forte, Wilson actually holds a law degree from the University of South Wale. The actress really didn’t think about acting until she contracted a bad case of malaria which caused her to rethink her life. In addition to her law degree, Wilson is also a graduate of the Australian theater for young people and has written theater shows as well as starring and producing in various Australian tv shows.

In the movie, Wilson is said to star alongside Liam Hemsworth who although normally doesn’t do many comedy movies, fits perfectly the hunky and perfect man trope used in many romantic comedies. This movie, however, would not be true to the romantic comedy genre without the love triangle.

Adam DeVine who has shared the silver screen with Rebel Wilson in Pitch Perfect once again plays the love interest of Natalie. The opportunity presented to Rebel Wilson to claim her title as a proven Hollywood leading lady hangs on the balance this Valentine’s day, but if we know Rebel Wilson we know she’s going to hit this movie out of the park.
