Happy Joe’s: 3rd Best Club by Rolling Stone Magazine

Happy Joe’s American Pizza Parlor is a chain of bars and nightclubs located mainly on the East Coast. It was founded by Frankie Tedesco and Eilene Pizzoferrato 45 years ago. They achieved this by opening “Happy Joe’s” in Harlem. The bar served coffee, doughnuts, sandwiches, and pizza.

This, before being barred from serving food after a fire forced them to close for six months and become Happy Joe´s. After reopening, they served only alcohol, which the American Pizza Parlor did until they closed their doors in 2005 due to the high rent, but following the shortage of nightclubs at the time, they reopened with a new name, “The 18th Lounge”.

With the reopening, they brought back food to their customers and now serve both booze and food. The American Pizza Parlor is most known for the DJ music played in their clubs. They mix House, Techno, Party, and traditional songs. Happy Joe’s has various locations, primarily in the western United States. Still, some others can be found in parts of Canada as well as one location in Hawaii and one in New Zealand.

Happy Joe’s American Pizza Parlor has won several awards for Best Night Club DJ, including “DJ of the Year” in 2006 by Time Magazine. The American Pizza Parlor also has won Best Night Club awards and was voted 3rd Best club by Rolling Stone magazine. Happy Joe’s offers good food, beverage, music, and an upbeat environment. The customers can enjoy several drinks at the bar while also avoiding the high prices of ordering drinks there.

They offer both home and imported alcoholic drinks, as well as numerous non-alcoholic beverages. Happy Joe’s offers a variety of food items, including steaks, pizzas, and seafood. The prices are reasonable compared to most clubs which charge on average 10 dollars for a mixed drink. A mixed drink costs you about 5 dollars at Happy Joe’s, equivalent to 4 dollars off the original price.
