A television production company is a place where people from all walks of life come together under one roof. From producers to camera operators to actors, everyone works in unison to create the best product possible. Randy Douthit had his first experience in television when he joined the production team of a local Atlanta TV station. He was given the task of writing a news segment for the station’s morning show. He wrote his first script and delivered it on time, but the show’s producers rejected it. After that, he started working on other projects like writing scripts for commercials and commercials for radio stations and TV shows. His work caught the attention of some notable people in Atlanta, including then-Mayor Andrew Young, who offered him job opportunities at city hall. He later became an assistant to Mayor Young.
